Ordered the Ardore to replace our old Uuni 2 wood pellet oven which has always been temperamental and hasn’t seen much use. Also bought Saputo stones, cover, and peel.

My order was placed Wednesday and received the oven Monday (DHL Express). Everything was extremely well packaged. Finish on the oven generally very convincing. A few sharp edges here and there but no deal breaker.

Now, a slightly tricky thing turned out to be the LPG regulator that came with Ardore. Here in Denmark, you usually get your LPG regulator integrated into the click-on connector, with the hose a wide diameter, low pressure type. Whereas the LPG regulator that ships with Ardore is a screw-on type with high pressure (8mm) hose. So you cannot easily use e.g. the LPG regulator from your gas grill.

Solution for me was to buy a click-on adaptor with German style connection. The one I got just delivers tank pressure, allowing me to use the (29mbar) Ardore regulator.

The setup seems to work well, and I had no problems getting the oven to Neopolitan temperatures (450 celsius) within the advertised time. The oven is a lot less finicky than the Uuni and I managed to turn out some fairly decent 60 second pies on my first try.

So far happy with the purchase and can recommend!
